Converse Law founders, Richard Spencer and Imdaad Sulaiman set out to create a different type of law firm that valued entrepreneurial flair, a collegiate atmosphere and a genuine, work-life balance. As the demand for their property and commercial law services continues to grow, they looked to Bretom for support in attracting and retaining culturally-aligned, legal talent.
Our starting point was to create a narrative to bring the Converse Law vision to life. Bretom conducted in-depth interviews with recent recruits and longer serving lawyers, gathering insights into their ambitions, motivations and behaviours, with trust emerging as the central theme. The proposition and key messaging was infused throughout the employee journey to establish awareness of Converse Law’s approach and to build credibility. Bretom brought their brand story to life by inviting potential recruits to engage with the firm through a modern, professional brochure, referral cards and emails. Copy and design consistency was carried through to a designated landing page and across social media to reinforce brand recognition and develop interest in preferred candidates.
